How do I Play?

• The official game is played on a squash court with a racquetball racquet and British Racketball.
• Anyone can play wherever there is one wall and a bit of space (school, gym, racquetball court, etc.).
• British racquetball is a special low bounce rubber ball which ensures long and fun rallies.

Where do I buy a racquet and ball?

• Racquetball racquets are available at any Walmart (1,000+ stores in U.S. PLUS online) or racquet sports store.
• British Racketballs are available by e-mailing racketball@gmail.com.
• Rackets are available from $20 and balls from $5 – a total cost of $25!

How is British RacKetball different from U.S. Racquetball?

• The bounce of the ball is much lower and easier to handle for non-experts!
• The U.S. court is 20′ X 40′ and the squash court 21′ X 32 – so longer rallies!

How is British RacKetball difference from Squash?

• The bounce of the ball is slower, higher and easier to handle for non-experts!
• The racquet has a bigger face – so fewer mistakes and longer rallies!
• The ball sits in the air longer – so easier to get to for kids and the 40+ crowd!
• Doubles can safely be played in a standard squash court (not so for squash:)

What about Doubles?

• Squash Doubles with four people on a singles international squash court is very dangerous, except for top “A’ players – Doubles Squash Courts (Hardball or Softball) are only found in private, expensive clubs.
• British Racketball Doubles can be played on any squash court at any level – as we see in this video:

Do I need a squash club or court to play British Racketball?

• If you do not have a court – all you need is a wall! The British Racketball ball is perfectly suited for any wall – and good for one-wall and three-wall U.S. style Racquetball (as per video below).
• British Racketball is ideally suited for school P.E. programs – limited space with many studetns – all you need is a gym wall!
• British Racketball is ideal for starter U.S. Racketball Programs – the low bounce ball can be used to divide the 20 X 40 racquetball court into three mini-courts!  Six students per court all playing!
