<li>The <em><strong>easiest</strong></em> racquet sport to learn and play!</li>
<li>Great to start kids off &#8211; <em><strong>then</strong></em> branch out to squash and tennis!</li>
<li>Best workout for the 40+ racquets player &#8211; the long rallies <em><strong>burn calories and improve cardio</strong></em>!</li>
<li>Great for doubles for those who love teamwork and the social aspects!</li>
</ul>
<span style="text-align:center; display: block;"><a href="http://britishracketball.wordpress.com/2009/06/17/what-is-british-racketball/"><img src="http://img.youtube.com/vi/D0Z77Uh-js0/2.jpg" alt="" /></a></span>
<p><em><strong>How do I Play?</strong></em></p>
<ul>
<li>The official game is played on a squash court with a racquetball racquet and British Racketball.</li>
<li>Anyone can play wherever there is one wall and a bit of space (school, gym, racquetball court, etc.).</li>
<li>British racquetball is a special <em><strong>low bounce rubber ball</strong></em> which ensures <em><strong>long and fun rallies</strong></em>.</li>
</ul>
<span style="text-align:center; display: block;"><a href="http://britishracketball.wordpress.com/2009/06/17/what-is-british-racketball/"><img src="http://img.youtube.com/vi/S82vP3go1Jg/2.jpg" alt="" /></a></span>
<p><em><strong>Where do I buy a racquet and ball?</strong></em></p>
<ul>
<li>Racquetball racquets are available at any Walmart (1,000+ stores in U.S. PLUS online) or racquet sports store.</li>
<li>British Racketballs are available by e-mailing racketball@gmail.com.</li>
<li>Rackets are available from $20 and balls from $5 &#8211; a total cost of $25!</li>
</ul>
<span style="text-align:center; display: block;"><a href="http://britishracketball.wordpress.com/2009/06/17/what-is-british-racketball/"><img src="http://img.youtube.com/vi/owE0UoPW_po/2.jpg" alt="" /></a></span>
<p><em><strong>How is British RacKetball different from U.S. Racquetball?</strong></em></p>
<ul>
<li>The bounce of the ball is <em><strong>much lower and easier to handle</strong></em> for non-experts!</li>
<li>The U.S. court is 20&#8242; X 40&#8242; and the squash court 21&#8242; X 32 &#8211; so longer rallies!</li>
</ul>
<p>Here is former Squash World #1 Peter Nicol (the one in the white shirt) playing British Racketball Doubles:</p>
<span style="text-align:center; display: block;"><a href="http://britishracketball.wordpress.com/2009/06/17/what-is-british-racketball/"><img src="http://img.youtube.com/vi/oKZ9_ECh6I4/2.jpg" alt="" /></a></span>
<p><em><strong>How is British RacKetball difference from Squash?</strong></em></p>
<ul>
<li>The bounce of the ball is <em><strong>slower, higher and easier to handle</strong></em> for non-experts!</li>
<li>The racquet has a bigger face &#8211; so <em><strong>fewer mistakes and longer rallies</strong></em>!</li>
<li>The ball sits in the air longer &#8211; so <em><strong>easier to get to</strong></em> for kids and the 40+ crowd!</li>
<li>Doubles can <em><strong>safely be played</strong></em> in a standard squash court (not so for squash:)</li>
</ul>
<span style="text-align:center; display: block;"><a href="http://britishracketball.wordpress.com/2009/06/17/what-is-british-racketball/"><img src="http://img.youtube.com/vi/9UhZfC9iX3w/2.jpg" alt="" /></a></span>
<p><em><strong>What about Doubles?</strong></em></p>
<ul>
<li>Squash Doubles with four people on a singles international squash court is very dangerous, except for top &#8220;A&#8217; players &#8211; Doubles Squash Courts (Hardball or Softball) are only found in private, expensive clubs.</li>
<li>British Racketball Doubles can be played on any squash court at any level &#8211; as we see in this video:</li>
</ul>
<span style="text-align:center; display: block;"><a href="http://britishracketball.wordpress.com/2009/06/17/what-is-british-racketball/"><img src="http://img.youtube.com/vi/BZ-bksuB_io/2.jpg" alt="" /></a></span>
<p><em><strong>Do I need a squash club or court to play British Racketball?</strong></em></p>
<ul>
<li>If you do not have a court &#8211; <em><strong>all you need is a wall!</strong></em> The British Racketball ball is perfectly suited for <em><strong>any </strong></em>wall &#8211; and good for one-wall and three-wall U.S. style Racquetball (as per video below).</li>
<li>British Racketball is ideally suited for school P.E. programs &#8211; limited space with many studetns &#8211; all you need is a gym wall!</li>
<li>British Racketball is ideal for starter U.S. Racketball Programs &#8211; the low bounce ball can be used to divide the 20 X 40 racquetball court into three mini-courts!  Six students per court all playing!</li>
</ul>
